KMS Europe today announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Carrot Computer, a provider of integrated software and IT hardware solutions to the Hospitality and Retail Industries.
The addition of Carrot Computer allows KMS to expand its abilities by offering bespoke software development. Together, KMS and Carrot Computer will help the Hotels, transportation, food & beverage retail industries to innovate the customer interactions through connected technology platforms.
As part of the acquisition, a new £400,000 Digital Hub is set to be created in Liverpool city centre, generating new roles with plans already in place to expand the workforce by more than double its current number.
Discussing the deal, KMS Managing Director, Emlyn Cole-Jones, stated: “We are delighted to bring the people and skills from Carrot Computer into KMS and see this as a really exciting development for the business and our customers. This acquisition will reinforce our existing software expertise, whilst the new Digital Hub gives us a important presence in the growing tech hub of Liverpool.

Carrot Computer Managing Director, Alan Adesalu who will take the role of Technical Director at KMS said “Working with KMS for a number of years already, we know it is an extremely progressive business with a high degree of agility.
