Revolutionising the Service Station

KMS has being working hard lately to install one of its most exciting projects yet.

Working in partnership with leading service station business Welcome Break, KMS has utilised its state-of-the-art Kiosk technology to provide a unique and bespoke fast food ordering solution, the first of its kind in the UK.

The system, supported by KMS-developed software, allows consumers to order from a variety of fast food chains, using one central kiosk - speaking to each individual kitchen to order the relevant items to be ready all at once.

Not only does this give customers more choice, it improves the efficiency in both the ordering and production of food. We are pleased with how the first installation has gone and are certainly looking forward to rolling this out across the Welcome Break network.

Sharon Boyd, who led the kiosk project for Welcome Break, commented: "Leading the Kiosk project has been one of the biggest professional adventures of my career. We had such a fantastic team working alongside us in KMS Europe.

"Developing the software and hardware for the first multi-branded kiosk of its kind in the UK, at warp speed, was a phenomenal achievement, and a real game changer for Welcome Break. KMS used an agile delivery for the software which is how we managed to implement this so quickly to our customers. I would definitely recommend this approach. A big thank you from me to everyone involved!"
